dispoGas is now dispoEnergy

Expanding into power scheduling
We’re expanding into a new commodity and are building a power scheduling solution.
This is a logical step for us.
The logistics processes in power and gas are similar, and many potential customers trade in both commodities. Being able to offer only gas nominations became a real limitation when customers were looking for a solution that covers both.
Building on what we learned from gas
With dispoGas, we learned a lot about what actually matters in daily operations. We’re now applying these lessons to power scheduling.
Our focus is simple:
- minimize the time spent on nomination and scheduling processes
- make it obvious at a glance that everything is fine
- actively notify users when something is wrong and action is required
- make it easy to identify the root cause of mismatches and anomalies and enable our users to resolve these issues quickly
Why power needs automation even more
In power, especially in intraday trading, scheduling needs to be fully automated.
There is no time to manually adjust schedules when updates happen every 15 minutes.
Integration and automation are therefore key, and this is where we are investing a lot of effort.
At the same time, we strongly believe that UI/UX is just as important as automation. We are building on our existing gas user interfaces and improving them further for power scheduling.
We’ll share more on both as things take shape.
About the name
With both gas and power in scope, our company name no longer reflected what we are offering.
Selling power scheduling under the name dispoGas is, quite simply, hard.
You could say we didn’t accumulate technical debt, but we did accumulate some naming debt.
That’s why we’re evolving into dispoEnergy,
